Instructional & Performance Technology
I have found through my Master of Science in Instructional and Performance Technology program at Boise State University that a lot of the theories and lesson plan templates that I use in teaching are applicable to corporate trainings and instructional design. The program at Boise State focuses on innovative and relevant instructional and human technologies as well as empirical-based trainings. Through this program, I have become well acquianted with LMS such as Camptasia and Captivate 5.5, and I am adept at working with the ADDIE model, Kirkpatrick's Learning Evaluation Model, Harless' Front End Analysis, BEM as a diagnostic tool, and the ARCS model for motivational appeal. I am knowledgeable and able to apply Adult Learning Theories to trainings. Below, I have linked some of my projects from Boise State; they demonstrate my ability to collaborate with other people, my writing and analytical skills, and my ability to apply learning theories and instructional design methods to the workplace.
